Paxi has only about 3000 inhabitants spread over 25 km ² . Paxos is different. It is one of the Ionian islands on the west of the Greek mainland. It is like the other islands in this group, very green and wooded. The proximity to Italy characterizes the island in several ways, notably by architecture and the many Italian tourists. Running small buses between the main town of Gaios and the other two “major” cities: Porto Longos and Lakka.

Nightlife
There are a few bars in Gaius, but do not expect any wild partying. Í instead people are enjoying the warm summer evenings with a cold drink on one of the quiet places or at some taverns. Beaches Lakka has a great beach with a relaxed atmosphere. South of Paxos is Antipaxi. A small island with a few good beaches where you can be sailed across by boat from Gaios.
